Boobies banned in Paris!! Something is definitely wrong when the French get suddenly prude and ask their lovely women to cover up! A new decree now prohibits "nude sunbathing, g-strings and toplessness" within city limits. It is legal elswhere in France.

Every summer the city dumps truckloads of sand along the Seine to create an artificial beach. This gave beach-goers an opportunity for some fun in the sun. But some have apparently slipped into hedonism and the government doesn't like the image it is sending out, which can lead to "dangerous behavior along the banks of the river." But it is Europe, I say!!! France!... Paris, for godsakes! This is way too American what is going on here. Putting up a McDonald's along the Champs Elysees was enough. We don't nee to start getting Puritanical. Not in the City of lights!

Those who do not heed the law pay 38 euro ($48).
